Summary
Jjajja tells me, "Sing to the moon," and perhaps my wish will be granted soon. This story was inspired by the rainy days I spent with my family in Uganda listening to tales spun by candlelight. My own Jjajja ("Jjajja" is the Luganda word for "grandfather" and "grandmother") was very fond of books and he was the keeper of many, many stories. In Uganda, stories can be found everywhere. So, once the rain ends, if you listen closely, you may just hear the landscape come alive... --, From dust jaccket
